Location was excellent and the hotel staff was polite. Good place to crash when you're not planning to spend time at the hotel.
The room was very comfortable. The hotel staff was very helpful when I needed assistance. The location was excellent for easily getting to the Metro and sites. Also, my room was very, very quiet. Perfect for sleeping after a long travel day!
We were at the back of the hotel and the room was quiet. Very central to all the major sites. We were able to walk to Notre Dame in about 10 minutes.
The cost of breakfasrt. Plenty of cafes nearby for breakfast much cheaper.
Staff not at the desk on my arrival even if checked in at 6 P.m . Had to call the hotel telephone number to have someone showing up.
Location was great, just accross the street from Sorbonne, 10 minutes of walking to Notre Dame Cathedral. Lots of shopping close by (for normal budget, not luxury, or designer stuff) Despite the central location and the busy traffic in the area, the room was very quiet. The bed was excellent, soft featherbed, pillow and comforter, crispy sheets.
Our room was very small, as we got "the cheapest room in the hotel" based on the comment during reservation. Breakfast is served in the basement and there was this musty smell...not appealing at all. Instead I recommend this little cafe just next door. Coffee is 1 Euro, and they sell a variety of pastries and sandwiches. Or you can choose from at least 20 other cafes located within 5 minutes of walking. The same unpleasant smell was lingering at times in the lobby area.
Great location, great staff, close to resteraunts, metro and points of interest.
No breakfast included.
We didn't know that the lobby would be torn up during our stay...rather disappointing.
Perfect location - all major tourist sites within easy reach.
A tiny room for the price, however that's Paris. All facilities were as stated, checking in and out prompt and efficient.
The hotel was very central, it was easy to get to most places. The rooms were clean. The hotel staff were quite friendly but not extremely helpful.
The only negative thing was the organization of breakfast. The breakfast room is quite small and we had to wait for a table, but then we had to wait for it to be cleaned which took quite a while.
Excellent central location: barely 5 minutes' walk to the Quartier Latin and the Jardin Luxembourg. Hotel has an elegant and clean overall appearance. Bed was very comfortable. I'd definitely return to this one.
Room was somewhat small. For breakfast, I'd recommend going to one of the cafeterias in Place Sorbonne:cheaper prices and nicer environment.
Excellent value for money and superb location opposite the Sorbonne. Only negative was the cost of parking (in a public ar park) which was around £23 for 24 hours. Would stay again.
The hotel was in a great location, next to Jardin de Luxenburg and close to Notre Dame. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Free wireless, location, calm
the bed mattress was too soft, the minibar didn't work (the door cannot be kept shut), the room was small and smelled cigarette smoke very strongly
We have been bitten by bedbugs in room 558. That is in itself not too bad although it itches enormously. However it is the risk of bringing them home that overshadowed our stay.
The bed was extremely uncomfortable. It was a double bed made from 2 adjoined twins. My boyfriend and I were constantly falling into the middle gap made by the two beds. The hotel seemed to try to line the beds with a down comforter (perhaps to try to hide this gap?), but that only made things worse, as we both had sore backs and left with a lack of sleep after 2 days. I like feeling rested after a vacation, so because of this, I would not recommend this hotel... if it weren't for this, if the hotel had actual double, queen, or king beds (and not adjoined twin beds), I would recommend this hotel.
